Long market picados Do you remember your first trip to Mexico for Day of the Dead and you couldn't resist the fabulous papel picado banner sheets that were sold in the markets and zocolo? We've all hauled them back to our shops where we find they arrive permanently creased or we end up tearing our hair out trying to pull apart one specific banner for an ambulant customer while your shop is packed? I've solved the problem so that you can easily bring back the joy of buying these fun & inexpensive traditional banners for your customers! I designed these thin skeleton designs, in packs of 24 sheets, stapled at the top, in bright assorted colors, where you can hang them on a rack wall or support with those big red clamps. When a person wants to buy one, you just tug at the color they want and loosely fold it and put it into a small card size sack. These cost only $1.25 per sheet and feature the exquisite quality paper cutting of one of Mexico's premiere old paper cutters from Puebla. Your customers will want to hang these picados on their wall, door or ofrenda. Difficult to find anywhere else, and they add lots of pizazz to your Day of the Dead store decorations. These intricate hand cut picados are perfect for to share with friends and work buddies and as favors for Day of the Dead parties! Keep the tradition alive! Papel Picado Banderitas

Hand-cut paper papel picado flags. Banners are 6" high x 9" wide and are mounted on an 18" long dowel. Banderitas make unique & inexpensive favors for parties or weddings. These "paper lace" flags look festive as centerpieces or can be used in floral arrangements. In fact, when banderitas and flowers are used together in centerpieces, less expensive floral arrangements can be used. Everyone at the table can take a banderita home with them! All banderitas are handmade.

In the Huasteca regions of Mexico, banderitas have been used since the 19th century in head dresses and carried in large gourd bowls during traditional ceremonial processions in the villages. "Tissue paper" in Spanish is called "papel de China", or paper from China, as that's where it was originally imported from.

MexicanSugarSkull.com's wholesale section is for store owners with a Resale License (must provide with your first order).
$150 minimum on first order consisting of wholesale products. If you desire sugar skull molds, there is a three dozen minimum to start with us. Re-orders $100. Sugar skull decorating supplies available only when accompanied by a sugar skull mold order.
We accept payment by company credit card.
Company check accepted when included with mailed orders. Pre-approved POs add $25.
Packing and handling charge is $5 per box added to actual UPS shipping charge.
